Coaching

Coaching will help you identify the blind spots, increase accountability, and help with success strategies that will take you, your business, your income, and your success to the next level.

If you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, or sales professional and you haven’t hit the level of success that you’ve wanted or needed, if you’re stuck and need to make a pivot in your business, or, if you just want more, you’re in the right place.

Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the here and now. It allows learnings from the past while creating a desired and empowering future.

Coaching is about unlocking a person’s purest potential to maximize their own performance, so they can operate at a state of excellence.

It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.

There is a huge difference between teaching someone and helping them to learn.

In coaching, fundamentally, the coach is helping the individual to improve their own performance and to operate at a state of excellence.

A great coach believes that the individual always has the answer to their own problems AND understands that they may need help to find that answer.

What does Coaching with Pivot Point Advantage look like?

Coaches see blind spots. Coaches are mirrors.

When you surround yourself with people that understand where it is you want to go and they understand where it is that you’re starting, they can help you to get out of your own way! They can help you get on your way, so you can finally have your way!

When we are part of the problem, there is no way we can be part of the solution. The only way that we can have what it is that we want is to surround ourselves with people who have done it and people who can call us out on what it is that we’re not doing.

You’ll never find a successful person who has not been coached to success.

Seeking out and actively engaging in a coaching relationship will…

And, most importantly, coaching will help you to up-level your life and business, because you’ll:

Having a coach is ALWAYS going to be worth it, but it’s not always going to be easy. Coaches are our mirrors. They hold up reality for us and we don’t always want to see what it is they show us.

The entrepreneur who succeeds is programmed for success. They have an undeniable, unshakable belief in themselves and their dreams. They believe in themselves and will invest in themselves and their business.

Step back. Look at your life. Look at your business.

Can you really afford to not have a coach?

Get the support you need to scale your business and fast-track your success.

Coaching gives you the outside perspective and accountability needed to see what’s actually getting in your way.
When you’re around people who understand how to operate at a higher level, you stop reacting to your business and start leading it.

In its most simple form, coaching is a relationship.

In many cases, it’s a development-focused relationship.

1:1 coaching is a relationship between a coach and a client. The 1:1 coaching relationship typically happens over a predetermined amount of time at specifically set intervals between the coach and the client. Think, once a week for an hour over the course of six months. Before the coaching sessions even begin, the coach and the client will determine these factors and set specific and measurable goals and outcomes.

Each coaching session has a predetermined focus set by you and your coach, designed to meet your specific needs. Your coach will ask you thought-provoking questions designed to make shift happen in your life and business.

Curious What Working With A Coach Could Look Like for You?

Training, Mentoring, or Coaching: Which Do You Actually Need?

We get asked all the time, “What’s the difference between training, mentoring, counseling, and coaching?”
…and, “Should I seek out a coach or take a training?”

Although teaching, mentoring, counseling, and coaching all share some key characteristics and skills, they are different and it’s important to be aware of those differences.

Teaching and training

Involve an expert Trainer who shares knowledge with their students. Although the best trainers will use interactive techniques, there is very definitely an imbalance of knowledge, with the teacher as the expert – holding the right answers.

Mentoring

A guide who helps someone to learn or develop faster than they might on their own. A mentoring relationship focuses on the future, career development, and broadening the individual’s horizons.

Counseling

More of a therapeutic intervention. It focuses on helping an individual overcome barriers and issues from their past and move on.

You Have to Do the Inner Work For the Outer to Ever Work

The biggest obstacles to success and achieving potential are internal, not external.

A great coach, who understands “the inner work” can help individuals to improve their outcomes and their success by shifting their inner dialogue. In particular, the “itty bitty shitty committee.” That critical voice, the bully on the brain that negates, minimizes, and limits our beliefs and capabilities

By working with and shifting that inner voice, empowerment and excellence take over and success becomes simple.

The essential part of coaching is helping people learn to silence that “bully on the brain” and learn to work with their inner voice. Helping them allow their instincts, or their subconscious, to take over. Sometimes that means distracting it, and sometimes it’s about exploring the ‘worst-case scenario’ and removing the fear.

Shifting your results requires active participation. WORK. In order to thrive, to live the life you always dreamed of, desire, and deserve, you get to do the inner work.

With the help of a coach, understand what creates and drives your behaviors. Figure out what programs run in the background that you don’t even know you don’t know. Identify your blind spots.

It’s important for you to appreciate, understand, and embrace the fact that we must do the inner work in order for the outer work to be easier. In other words, do the inner work to make your outer work.

Working with a coach is huge in embracing change and making shift happen.

Group Coaching vs. 1:1 Coaching

1:1 coaching is a custom design to help you create shift in your life and business. The focus is solely on you, what is in your head, and unlocking the answers that will serve YOU.

Group coaching is when each individual is working towards their own success while learning collectively in a group facilitated by a coach. In order for group coaching to be successful, there should be fewer than ten people in the group, there must be a common thread among participants, and all participants must be open and engaged.

When considering a 1:1 coaching relationship or a group coaching program, look at your individual needs and goals, then decide which is the right fit.

Choose a Partner, Not Just a Coach

When you’re looking for a coach, you want to look for someone who was once where you are, and is now where you want to be. Look for a coach who does what you want to do, that has the things that you want to have, and that has created the success that you want to create!

Take time to meet with your potential coach first, to make sure that you’re a good fit for each other. In this call, you can ensure that your prospective coach understands your goals and vision and that they will hold you accountable to yourself, your business, and them. You can also ensure that their coaching style will fit your needs. Remember, it needs to be a good fit for both coach and client.

Your coach will help you to…

Your coach will be your partner in success and will facilitate your learning.

Your coach will make sure that you’re consistently taking the actions that will create results. They will make sure you’re doing the marketing you’re supposed to be doing. They will make sure you’re doing the admin that you’re supposed to be doing. They will make sure you’re doing the operations that you’re supposed to be doing.

They will make sure you’re delegating, connecting, and being consistent.

To be successful, it is absolutely imperative that you have an arsenal of tools and skills available to you so that you are able to navigate anything.

Invest in yourself. If you’re not going to invest in yourself, why would anyone else invest in you
